Maintenance notes: Due to the loss of humidity in the staves (wooden boards) and the expansion of the metal rings that make up the barrel, a separation of very few millimeters may appear between the staves depending on the conditions in which they are stored. that the barrel will be maintained. For this reason, we advise our clients to monitor this separation and, if necessary, re-tighten the metal rings and fix them to the wood. Likewise, we recommend protecting the wood with a specific product for this purpose if the barrel is going to be kept in outdoor weather conditions.
