For outdoor use, it is recommended that the wood is treated and protected to avoid the possible deterioration that its exposure may cause.
Maintenance notes: Due to the loss of the moisture level of the staves (wooden boards) and the expansion of the metal rings that make up the barrel, some separation of a few millimeters may appear between the staves depending on the conditions in the that the barrel will be kept. For this reason, we advise our clients to supervise this separation and, if necessary, to retighten the metal rings and fix them to the wood. Likewise, we recommend protecting the wood with a specific product for this purpose if the barrel is to be kept in external weather conditions.
